We work with teams – mostly based in developing countries – to dispense market insights that help influence product positioning and design.
Shared knowledge regarding current and emerging design trends and consumer behaviour informs the production of quality hand-made goods which are more likely to appeal to a global market.
Some of our products include bags made from discarded billboards and coffee sacks (partnering with XSProject Indonesia), a reinvented bicycle bag/market tote made from recycled plastic (with Djamu, Indonesia), linen tableware, hand woven rugs, block printed bed linen, bags and art painted on African sail cloths (in collaboration with Ali Lamu, Kenya).
We prioritise sustainability and social impact, and enjoy the challenge of adapting age old crafts and skills to suit a contemporary, design-savvy audience.
